Matthew Broussard
Matthew Broussard
Matthew Broussard is a disgraced financial analyst forced into stand up comedy. The byproduct of a Cajun chemist and Jewish microbiologist, he holds a degree in computational mathematics he always manages to bring up (just did it!) and is fully aware of how douchey he looks. His comedy is heady, self-effacing, and weirdly... educational?
He's performed on the Tonight Show, Conan, Jeff Ross Presents Roast Battle, the Comedy Central Half Hour, and some stuff with MTV2 he doesn’t like to talk about. You can catch him in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, The League, The Mindy Project, and alongside Billy Crystal and Tiffany Haddish in the film Here Today. He is the creator of the webcomic and puzzle app, Monday Punday.
Phil Griffiths
As far as mid-life crises go, Phil Griffiths’ wife stacks his career in stand-up comedy as better than a drug addiction but worse than him having a mistress. With his dry deadpan humor, Phil shares his slightly off observations on life. Phil has opened for Kyle Kinane, Ms. Pat, Greg Fitzsimmons, Beth Stelling, Laurie Kilmartin, Josh Blue, Chad Daniels, Jackie Kashian, Jermaine Fowler, Brad Williams, and more. He also produces and hosts Comedy Sharks, a successful comedy showcase in the Bay Area.
Aurora Singh
I am a first generation American just trying to figure life out in a millennial’s world. I plopped out of my Haitian mother in January of ’92 and was raised in Sacramento, CA. Growing up in the 916 taught me how to bargain, blend in with the white people, and dodge crazy drivers. I wanted to expand my horizons in college so I ventured to the great lands of Reno, Nevada, an even whiter community! Easy, I had prepared for this my entire life! After earning my degree in health (basically from learning how to procrastinate and get papers done after a bottle of wine), I soon got into car sales. Why? for the same reason everyone does, because I realized that being popular at keg parties doesn’t pay the bills in the real world and it was good money that didn’t check your grades. Oops. I soon remembered that my goals in life are to make people laugh and ultimately LIVE. So I quit my job and here I am! I find the best way to express my struggles through awkward thoughts, awkward actions, bad decisions, and binge drinking is best done on stage in front of a ton of strangers. It’s way cheaper than therapy!
