Sabrina Wu

Sabrina Wu

with David Nguyen and Marcus Williams

Sabrina Wu is a New York based actor, comedian, and writer. They most recently starred as “Deadeye” in the Lionsgate film JOY RIDE, from executive producers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg and director Adele Lim. The Wrap called Wu “the funniest member of the central quad” with “endlessly earnest,... delicate introspection.” They have also wrapped shooting as one of the leads in Lauren Ludwig’s pilot SUCKHOLE at FX. Sabrina was named one of Variety’s 10 Comics to Watch and one of Vulture’s Comedians You Should and Will Know in 2023. Last year, they were a 2022 JFL New Face in Montreal, and they made their stand-up TV debut on TONIGHT SHOW STARRING JIMMY FALLON. Sabrina will be featured in the Netflix multi-comic special, VERIFIED STAND-UPS, set to air November 28th. On the writing side, Sabrina is an executive story editor on an upcoming Mike Schur/Alan Yang produced animated series, DANG!, at Netflix. Prior, they were a story editor on DYING FOR SEX, an upcoming Liz Meriwether dramedy for FX. They also previously served as a staff writer: the Disney+ comedy DOOGIE KAMEALOHA MD. Currently, they are developing their semi- autobiographical half-hour script, IT GETS BETTER, with Kim Rosentock and 20th.

David Nguyen

David Nguyen is a writer and comedian currently writing and comedianing in SF Bay Area. One half of The Bad Asians Show, the premier comedy showcase featuring Asian comics, David is a mainstay both in the local scene and comedy clubs across America. David is a refreshingly positive voice in stand up - his act has a sharp edge but never draws blood. He's like a bag of jelly beans with the licorice and popcorn beans left in – overall, very sweet, but with just enough bitter notes to keep it interesting. Preferring a gentler approach to social commentary than the foot-stomping, chest-pounding norm, his criticism is always funny and usually constructive. And with an immediately likable demeanor and a deep bag of topics from which to draw material, it is easy to see why David is one of the most dynamic young comics working today.

Marcus Williams

Marcus Williams is a stand-up comedian posing as a structural engineer during business hours. He was a semi-finalist in the 2016 Sacramento Comedy Festival and has performed at the San Francisco Punchline, Cobb's Comedy Club, all over New York, Denver and several other locations with a stage and a microphone. He's funny as hell.
