During the holiday season Roosters hosts some of our favorite comedians in town for the holidays. All the shows feature a hilarious line-up of our favorite L.A., New York, and San Francisco Bay area comedians in town for the season. Each show will have a headlining comic and an all-star lineup that is sure to knock your socks off. So come on out and enjoy a night of laughs to celebrate the season!
Jeremy Talamantes
Jeremy Talamantes is half Mexican, half White and full on funny. The day he dropped out of community college he solemnly swore to make others chuckle. Coming out of San Francisco but repping San Jose, this 24 year old Bay Area native is a blue collar slacker with a taste for the goofier things in life. He has traveled up and down both coasts playing anywhere from bars and cafes to theaters and comedy clubs in order to uphold his oath.
Rea Kapur
Rea Kapur (she/her) is a Bay Area based comedian & a devout lesbian; often described as “the coolest girl in the psych ward.” A regular at the San Jose Improv, Rea has hosted & featured for acclaimed comedians Tommy Tiernan, DeAnne Smith, Mark Smalls, Pinky Patel, & the patron saint of mental health comedy, Maria Bamford. Her award-winning, co-created show, “Perversity, Equity, and Inclusion”, sold out at the San Francisco Fringe Festival, featuring an all queer, mostly trans cast. In May, Rea clinched 3rd place at the 20th Annual Roosters Comedy Competition in the South Bay!
Angel Castro
Having lived in both the U.S. and Mexico, Sacramento comic Angel Castro uses his personal experiences and perspectives as fuel for his comedy. Angel jokes about family, race, work, relationships and real life stories. Angel performs regularly at comedy clubs in Northern California such as Laughs Unlimited, Punch Line, and San Jose Improv. Angel has participated in the SacTown Comedy Get Down festival and the World Series of Comedy in Las Vegas. Angel has previously opened for Max Amini and hosted for Steve Furry, Myles Weber, and Dennis Gaxiola. He performs for all types of audiences including clean comedy audiences. - Bags/Purses up to 12” x 6” x 12” are allowed in the venue. All bags that are not clear are subject to search.

- No Outside Food or Drink Allowed – this includes water bottles
- No smoking or vaping allowed
- No personal recording equipment allowed and anyone caught recording the performances on their phones will be immediately ejected
