During the holiday season Roosters hosts some of our favorite comedians in town for the holidays. All the shows feature a hilarious line-up of our favorite L.A., New York, and San Francisco Bay area comedians in town for the season. Each show will have a headlining comic and an all-star lineup that is sure to knock your socks off. So come on out and enjoy a night of laughs to celebrate the season!
Jeff Applebaum
A native New Yorker, Jeff made his national TV debut on CBS as a comedian on the "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson." He has also appeared on Comics Unleashed, Comedy.tv, Byron Allen’s nationally syndicated Entertainment Studios program, ABC-TV, KGO Radio, AM810 in San Francisco, CA, and America's Got Talent on NBC. He's opened for and performed with comic legends Robert Klein, Mort Sahl, Robin Williams, Dana Carvey, Elayne Boosler, Jimmy "JJ" Walker, and more. He entertains audiences around the globe, and his highly acclaimed Dry Bar Comedy Special was released in 2022.
Butch Escobar
Butch Escobar is one of the most prominent comedians in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has performed throughout the country and for the troops overseas. His energetic performances and unapologetic views on contemporary society has made him one of the most in-demand comedians on the West Coast.
Butch Escobar's comedy is spontaneous, truthful, and hard-hitting. He is a crowd favorite because his material is improvised, in-the-moment, and brutally honest.
Butch is a featured regular at the world famous Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Cobbs Comedy Club in San Francisco, and Punch Line Comedy Clubs in San Francisco and Sacramento.
Butch is also a requested feature for comedy legends including Joey Coco Diaz, Norm McDonald, Aries Spears and many more.
Joe Klocek
Joe has appeared on Comedy Central's "Live at Gotham," NBC's "Last Comic Standing" and was a commentator for the Emmy award-winning documentary, "A Bridge so Far." Joe has also told a story on NPR's "Snap Judgement" and San Francisco's own "Bawdy."
Joe has also been a runner-up in the "San Francisco International Comedy Competition" and the "Seattle Comedy Competition."
Voted "Best Comic" in the 2011 SF Weekly Readers Poll.
Joe also had a two month "comic in residency" at the first comedy club in Shanghai, China. He has also performed in Hong Kong and Singapore.
